I am Katie O’Neill, A Democratic Candidate running for

Ohio State Senate in District 18.

I want to be a State Senator from North East Ohio where I was born and raised. I have earned three degrees since graduating from Chagrin Falls High School in the class of 2000. I have a Bachelor's in History and the Environment from Ohio University, a Master’s of Energy Regulation and Law and a Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School.

I have spent the past two decades working with the public on issues concerning democracy, the environment, energy and agriculture. I have spent my lifetime working to be prepared for this position in the State Senate. I believe governance is a profession. It requires education, experience and courage. Courage to protect, defend and expand our civil rights and get the day-to-day work done for the public at a prevailing wage.

We need to change the leadership in the Statehouse. I will focus on the real issues: our health and safety, civil rights and democracy, education, renewable energy, transportation, infrastructure and agriculture.
